Help for this video:
You may want to see what certain
changes to an already created project would reflect WITHOUT making changes to
the already created project.
You can therefore do a “What-if” scenario
using Billcost.
To make a “What-if” do the
following:
- Open up
Billcost Project Manager
- Either right
click on the project you wish to do a “What-if” of OR, go
to “File” & “What-if”
- The Project
will now move to the “What-if” tab.
- To view this
tab, at the BOTTOM LEFT of the Billcost Project manager you will see 3 tabs:
- 1) Normal (displaying all projects), 2)
Bill Estimator and 3)
What-if
- Click on the “What-if” tab at the
bottom.
- All Projects
using the “What-if” scenario will now be displayed.
- Select your
Project you just sent to the “What-if” tab, click on the ‘Estimator’ module icon
and carry on with Billcost as you would normally.
- Select a
database to measure from and now your Project will open.
- Make all the
changes and additions you want to make.
- Cost the
project when done and your original project will not be affected, ensuring you
have now down a “What-if” scenario to compare the two projects.
